Due to legislative changes, beginning January 1, 2026, all persons presenting a document for filing (in person) into the real property records of Brazoria County, are required to provide a photo ID to the Clerk.  Texas Local Government Code §191.010

The Recording and Vitals Department has moved from the East Annex to the Administration Building located at 237 E. Locust, Suite 102, Angleton, TX 77515.
