REGISTER TO VOTE
For information on how to register to vote visit VoteTexas.gov or contact Brazoria County Voter Registration.
To be eligible to vote in Brazoria County, you must be registered to vote at least 30 days before the upcoming election date.
Where to Obtain a Voter Registration Application:
- Visit any Brazoria County Clerk's Office location during regular business hours. Or at your local U.S. Postal office, library, high school, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) site, Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
- An online application in English or Spanish must be completed, printed, signed, and mail to:

- Request via e-mail at cclerkelections@brazoriacountytx.gov. Please include a mailing address and phone number in your email. Our office will mail a paper application to you.

**NOTE: To update your voter registration, you will need your Voter Unique Identifier (VUID) to log in to the Texas.gov portal. You can find your VUID by visiting the Texas SOS My Voter Portal, in which you can enter your Name, County, Date of Birth and ZIP code to display your voter registration information.

On-site training has limited seating please call to reserve seating
Off-site training is available with a minimum of 10 attendees. Email or call for details.
On line training is an optional training method offered by the Texas Secretary of State their procedure allows a person to review the SOS online Volunteer Deputy Registrar training. Upon completing the training, they must appear in person in the voter register’s office to take an examination. Upon satisfactory completion of the examination, and completion of the Request of Appointment, the voter registrar shall appoint the person as a VDR. They will be issued a Certificate of Appointment. At this time, the county will provide the newly appointed VDR of any county specific procedures and supplies. Go to the following link for more information:
Note: If you have taken the class in another county and would like to be a Dual Registrar in our county you will need to come to our main office for our county-specific procedures, provide a copy of the other counties certificate of appointment in order to receive our counties material and certificate of appointment.
